Flowers From Russia 22" X 38"

When I was lecturing at a university in Russia, much of my spare time was spent in their art department. This hand painted piece of silk was one of the outcomes. It languished in a drawer for several years. Finally I decided that I would either do something with it or throw it out! Thankfully I chose to keep it as it is now one of my favourite pieces. Hand quilted with thousands of tiny, tiny stitches, so close they almost look machine done and bordered in purple satin, this small wall hanging is a real work of art. Size approx 22 inches by 38 inches. This is totally one-of-a-kind and cannot be re-produced. However if you have an interesting piece of hand-painted silk, lets talk!
